Ministry Health Services for Businesses continues to facilitate monthly focus group meeting for local businesses who are interested in the health and safety of their employees. This focus group meets the second Wednesday monthly from 12 - 1 p.m. for a light lunch, networking and information sharing. The topic for each meeting is issue driven and educational.

The next meeting is Wednesday, May 12 from noon - 1 p.m. at Saint Mary's Hospital conference room 1 located in the lower level of the hospital. Join Pat Dugan, MSE, CSAC, LPC and Rae Ann Thomas, LSW CEAP from Ministry Health Care for a presentation about “Drugs and Alcohol in the Work Place”. Focus will be on the evolution of diagnosis and treatment of AODA abuse. Presentation will explore and cover the range of policies that exist in work place. It will compare how these area impact each other.
