24-Hour Emergency Department The emergency department handles problems related to cardiac, respiratory, complex lacerations, orthopedic injuries, multiple trauma, abdominal pain or other serious conditions or concerns. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with board-certified internal medicine physicians and mid-level providers. Consult and transfer services are available for numerous "on call" specialists. 24-Hour Skilled Nursing Care Certified swing beds for patients who qualify for Medicare-covered skilled nursing services are available. Sevices include; in-house physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, activities and spiritual services. Back to Top
Activities & Leisure Programs Swing bed patients have activity programs and services to meet individual needs during their stay. Back to Top
Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Cardiac inpatient/outpatient exercise training and education; pulmonary outpatient exercise training and education; work evaluations; and individualized health counseling are offered through this program. Back to Top

Diabetes Management Clinic A Medicare-certified diabetes management program is available at Our Lady of Victory Hospital. This program provides:

- stress/psychological adjustment
- family involvement/social support
- nutrition
- exercise/activity
- medications
- monitoring glucose and control
- prevention/detection/treatment of acute and chronic complications
- foot/skin/dental care
- behavior change strategy
- health care system/community resources.

Diagnostic Imaging Tests include on-site computed tomography (CT Scan), nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and radiography (X-ray), mammography, bone scan densitometry. Board-certified radiologists are on staff. Back to Top
Inpatient & Outpatient Surgery Services Surgery services are available for general, orthopedics, urology, podiatry, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology (ENT). Other procedures available include colonoscopy, foreign body removal, upper GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, flexible sigmoidoscopy and other diagnostic studies. Back to Top

Medical & Surgical Units Our 25-bed medical/surgical inpatient unit provides care to a diverse patient population. All RNs are Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. Back to Top
Pharmacy Inpatient services are available for intravenous and oral medications. Retail pharmacy services are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Back to Top
Rehabilitation Services Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and sports medicine services are offered. Specialized care includes industrial rehabilitation, headaches/TMJ, hand therapy, chronic pain management, geriatrics, amputees, brace fitting, pediatrics, wound care and general orthopedics. Respiratory Care Inpatient and outpatient services are provided in the following categories: bronchial hygiene therapeutics and assessment; critical care ventilator management and associated non-invasive monitoring; oxygen therapy and assessment; pulmonary function testing and pulmonary screening; and cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, cardiolite stress testing, ambulatory monitoring and scanning. Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic Staffed by board certified physicians, nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants, this service is for problems related to earache, sore throat, cough, headache, fever, toothache, urinary tract infection, vomiting, diarrhea, simple lacerations, minor burns and wound care. Open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Back to Top |
