Diabetes Self-management Program
This American Diabetes Association recognized program is available to educate the diabetic patient and family or care giver about the disease of Diabetes. An overview of diabetes, stress/psychological adjustment, family involvement/social support, nutrition, exercise/activity, medications, monitoring glucose and control, prevention/detection/treatment of acute and chronic complications, foot/skin care, behavior change strategy and resources are all components of this program. Diagnostic Imaging
Tests include radiology (X-ray),fluoroscopy, tomography, computerized tomography (CT scan), ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone density screening.

Durable Medical Equipment Department
This department provides a full line of high quality medical equipment and supplies to patients in the home settings. Our department can be reached at 715-762-7550 with requests for equipment and supplies. We will work with you to determine the choices of equipment and/or supplies best suited to meet the patient's needs.

Home Health Care
Comprehensive skilled services are provided for the homebound patient to promote, restore or maintain his/her health at home. A plan of care is developed in cooperation with the physician to maximize your independence and minimize the stress of your illness or disability. Nurses are on-call 24 hours a day. Hospice

A 4 bed inpatient unit that provides continuous comprehensive observation, and intensive medical and nursing care.

Laboratory
The Flambeau Hospital Laboratory is a modern, highly automated, full-service facility. We provide services on an inpatient and outpatient basis, with staff coverage 365 days a year. Our test menu includes hematology, coagulation, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and serology testing. Blood bank testing and transfusion services are also available onsite.

Rehabilitation Program
Flambeau Hospital's comprehensive rehabilitation program encompasses a wide variety of services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and sports medicine. The goal of our program is to restore and achieve the highest level of movement and function possible and to relieve pain. Achieving your personal goals is also important to us. Each treatment program is geared to meet individual needs, abilities and lifestyles. Our professionals will help you reach your peak performance-on the job, in your sport or in the routine activities of everyday living. Specialty programs include back and neck rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, pediatric therapy, pain management, occupational medicine and sports rehabilitation. The Flambeau Hospital Rehabilitation team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers and strength and conditioning specialists who specialize in the assessment and rehabilitation of various joint and muscular injuries.

Respiratory Care
Inpatient and outpatient services are provided in the following categories: bronchial hygiene therapeutics and assessment, critical care ventilator management, oxygen therapy and assessment, pulmonary function testing and bedside pulmonary screening.

Surgery
Two surgical suites and one procedure room are available related to the following specialties: general/vascular/thoracic surgery, orthopedics, and urology. Procedures including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and esophageal dilation are also available.
