Saint Mary's Hospital and MMG Receive CDC Recognition

(Rhinelander, WI)  The Community Blood Center (CBC) recently recognized Sacred Heart-Saint Mary’s Hospitals and Ministry Medical Group for exemplary blood drive recruitment efforts. Presenting the 2008 Overall Excellence Award on behalf of the CBC was Alan W. Cable, President/CEO, Jan Hadsell, CBC donor resources coordinator and Lance Trainer, medical director. Accepting on behalf of the hospital and clinic were Pam Karoliussen, Sue Fowler, Sandy Stein and Jacci Hauser. The hospital and clinic organize regular blood drives at the Riverside Clinic, Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk, and Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. The CBC provides all of the blood units used at area hospitals. “Your unfailing support helps ensure the Community Blood Center continues to meet 100% of the needs of local patients,” states Cable. “In order for us to meet the need, we depend on volunteer donors and the generosity of organizations like yours.”
