Continuing their commitment to bringing high-quality cost effective health care to the people of the Crandon community and Forest County, Ministry Health Care is pleased to announce the purchase of 8 acres of land located at 400 West Glen Street off highway 8 west of Crandon.  This location will be the future home of a new state-of-the-art clinic facility for Ministry Medical Group which is currently located at 209 East Elm Street in Crandon. Ground breaking for the new clinic facility is anticipated for the spring of 2009 with an expected completion by the end of 2009.

“Ministry has had a long-standing commitment to this community and this exciting development is not only realization of a long standing personal dream of mine but reflects our organization’s future commitment to the people and communities of Forest County,” shared Dr. Rebecca Perry.  “A new facility not only brings a new building but the potential for many new services geared to the needs of our patients and their families—for years to come.”

Dr. Robert Sookochoff, Regional Vice President-Ministry Medical Group shared “Ministry Medical Group is committed to the growth of medical services in Crandon and Forest County.  Our intent is for the new building to reflect the values of the Crandon community through innovative, environmentally friendly design.  Such a design could serve as a template for Ministry Medical Group expansion in other locations.”

Ministry Medical Group prides itself on its unique ability to provide high quality medical services with the personal touch of small-town life.  Internal Medicine and Family Practice specialists are currently located at the clinic, while a significant number of specialists also come to Crandon on a weekly basis from Ministry Medical Group-Rhinelander. Crandon clinic’s health care includes family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, rheumatology, surgery, physical medicine, behavioral health, diagnostic services, lab services and specialist referral.  Crandon clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to serve you and your family.
