(Rhinelander, WI) Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome James Panagas, MD, to Ministry Medical Group (MMG) Anesthesia Services at Saint Mary’s Hospital located at 2251 North Shore Drive in Rhinelander. Dr. Panagas joins anesthesia specialists Mark Collar, MD; Chris Younker, CRNA; Byron McDonald, CRNA; Carlos Condado, CRNA; Fritz Karsnia, CRNA; Kathy Moller, CRNA; Tonia Douglas, CRNA; Jaime Roberts, CRNA; and Bradley Benton, CRNA. His practice includes anesthesia for Obstetric, Orthopedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Gynecological, uncomplicated Pediatrics and general surgery cases.

Most recently Dr. Panagas was an Assistant Professor at Loyola University Medical Center, Department of Anesthesiology, in Maywood, IL. He received his medical degree from the University of Santo Thomas, College of Medicine, Manila, Philippines in 1981 and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Panagas has an active Wisconsin Medical License and is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

In his spare time, Dr Panagas enjoys spending time with his family at their farm in Rockbridge, WI where they fish, hike, and clear brush and take their three little dogs for long walks.
