(Rhinelander, WI) Does someone in your family drink too much? Are you concerned about a loved one’s use of pot or other drugs? Were you raised in an alcoholic family and now question some of your adult behaviors?
Alcoholism and drug addiction causes untold suffering on families and friends. Financial troubles, broken promises, fear, guilt, and anger are common in alcoholic families.
Ministry Behavioral Health, a department of Saint Mary’s Hospital, offers a Chemical Dependency Family Recovery Program to help those affected by someone else’s use of alcohol or other drugs. Family and friends meet in either group or individual sessions to learn more about the effects of chemical dependency on the family and how to cope more effectively with this devastating disease.
The program is facilitated by Patrick Dugan, MSE, CADCII who has more than 25 years experience working with chemical dependency and families. For more information or to schedule an initial appointment call Ministry Behavioral Health at 715-361-2805. The cost of the program is covered by most health insurance policies.
