How We Support the Health of our Community

Saint Michael’s Foundation’s mission is to grant charitable support to meet the health care needs of our community is evident in the projects that we have funded.

• Established an operational endowment for Ministry Dental Center to ensure dental care for low income patients continues into the future.
• Funding for support groups for those with cancer, diabetes, heart disease, joint replacements, and Bariatric surgery.
• Funding for Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services to provide end of life care.
• Funding to support LaClinica’s efforts in providing health care to migrant workers.
• Lifeline subsidies for low income individuals
• Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) for athletic trainers to carry to athletic and community events
• Partnering with the Stevens Point Junior Woman’s Club to provide AED’s in Portage County Schools
• Free Health Screenings
• Health Education Scholarships
• Hat and Wig gifting program for cancer patients
• Cancer Education Programs
• And many other health and wellness initiative
