“Celebrating Cancer Survival: Live Happy, Laugh Loud,” is the subject of a presentation at the annual Cancer Survivors Celebration sponsored by Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Marshfield Clinic. All cancer survivors and their families are invited to the free event on Friday, August.7.
Mack Dryden, cancer survivor, national speaker and author, will entertain, motivate and inspire participants with his presentation. The annual event is being held in partnership with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at the Marshfield Middle School Track.
The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with registration and a social hour. An opening ceremony and survivor lap will be at 6 p.m., with the Mack Dryden presentation at 6:45 p.m., all at the Middle School track, located off Palmetto Avenue.
The Relay for Life will be from 5 p.m. Friday, August 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, August 8.
