A Saint Joseph's Hospital nurse can always explore something new.

This program provides financial assistance in the form of interest-free loans to employees pursuing a nursing degree. Saint Joseph's Hospital forgives repayment on these loans in return for employment/hours worked at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Books, tuition, and other required course expenses will be paid directly to the school or reimbursed to the employee.

Employees must be scheduled to work a minimum of 16 hours/pay period, must be employed at Saint Joseph's Hospital for at least one year, and successfully complete courses in order for payment of course expenses to occur. The process to apply for the NCAL requires a committee review of the initial and ongoing applications to the program to ensure that program participants are appropriate. Eligible employees may receive up to $5,250 per fiscal year and $10,500 total.
