Total Joint Center at Saint Clare's Hospital to Offer Joint Replacement Education Program on May 20

The Total Joint Center at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston will host “Feeling Good Again,” an educational and informative discussion on joint pain management options at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.

Feeling Good Again will highlight the surgical and non-surgical treatment of joint pain and the management of hip and knee pain.

Featured presenters include Mark D. Earll, M.D., a Marshfield Clinic orthopedic surgeon on staff at Saint Clare’s Hospital and Matthew Blievernicht, physical therapist at The Diagnostic & Treatment Center, a service of Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care.

According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, more than 400,000 total joint replacement surgeries occur in the United States each year with a proven success rate of 90-percent. “Total joint implants have provided long-term pain relief and have restored mobility to millions of people for more than 40 years,” said Earll.

Feeling Good Again will be held in the Saint Clare’s Hospital Conference Center. Participants should use parking lot and entrance #3 to enter the Weston Regional Medical Center. This is a free program, but registration is required by calling the Total Joint Center at 888.735.7189.
