Marshfield Clinic / Ministry Health Care Heart Team Receives $54,000 Grant From the American Heart

Thousands of families in central and northern Wisconsin will receive what could be a life-saving gift from the Heart Care Team of Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care in the coming months. Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care is the recipient of a $54,000 grant from The American Heart Association to provide CPR Anytime kits to assist in the implementation of a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program that is simple and convenient to use.

More information about the grant and program along with representatives from Marshfield Clinic, Ministry Health Care and The American Heart Association will be available to members of the media on Tuesday, August 5 at 11 a.m. at Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston. One on One interviews as well as photography and b-roll video opportunities will take place in the Saint Clare's Hospital Conference Center. Best access to the Conference Center is from parking lot and entrance #3 on the campus of the Weston Regional Medical Center.

The team is made up of primary care physicians, cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, researchers, and other physicians and staff located at 41 hospitals and clinics.
