FOUNDATION OF SAINT CLARE’S HOSPITAL DONATES $15,000 TO COMMUNITY CENTER OF HOPE IN MOSINEE

The Foundation of Saint Clare’s Hospital is the latest representative of Ministry Health Care to support The Community Center of Hope in Mosinee.

Foundation officials and other volunteers gathered recently to present $15,000 to aid in the start-up costs of the new Wellness Center and Compassion Care Clinic which opened to residents of the Mosinee community in February. In addition, The Community Center of Hope provides assistance to those in need in need through a food pantry, youth services, family crisis programs and active older adult programs.

“The efforts of all of those involved in the launch of the Compassion Care Clinic should be celebrated,” said Saint Clare’s Foundation President Hooshang Zeyghami. “The Saint Clare’s Foundation is proud to provide this support which is so well aligned with our mission and values.”

The financial support of the Saint Clare’s Foundation is the latest level of support for the Community Center of Hope as about 25-30 Ministry Health Care employees from Saint Clare’s Hospital and Ministry Medical Group have joined with other community partners and volunteers to play an active role in the launch of this much needed service to the Mosinee community. Physicians and other providers provide direct patient care at the clinic while other staff plays key roles in its operation and administration of the equally important social aspects that give people access to the help they need.

“This is a tremendously rewarding project to be a part of,” said Rachel Yaron, vice president of quality and safety at Saint Clare’s Hospital and member of the Community Center of Hope Board of Directors. “Ultimately we hope this program will bridge the gap for people who have no access to care into some form of long term medical support.”

“We are truly grateful for the support of Ministry Health Care and the Saint Clare’s Foundation,” said Community Center of Hope Executive Director Pastor Jim Verkest. “We could not have done this without them.”
