The Diagnostic & Treatment Center Cardiac Rehabilitation Program in Weston recently received accreditation from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The Diagnostic & Treatment Center is a service of Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care.

“This accreditation is recognized as the standard of quality in the delivery of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation care,” said Janet Abell, R.N., said Janet Abell, director of cardiovascular and pulmonary services. “We are pleased our program has met the strict standards and guidelines to receive this two-year accreditation. Our entire team was actively involved in preparing the necessary documentation.”

The cardiopulmonary team successfully prepared and received AACVPR accreditation for the Diagnostic & Treatment Center’s pulmonary program last year.

Located on the Weston Regional Medical Center campus, The Diagnostic & Treatment Center is a service of Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care and offers a broad range of advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services to meet the needs of all area physicians and their patients.
