Support for Men in Grief
Ministry Home Care is hosting a unique support group specifically for senior men who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives – the Men in Grief Group. Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite photo to help to share their story. The hope is that relationships will be formed among participants, creating “grief buddies” for ongoing support and connection. This free group requires no pre-registration, and is facilitated by trained bereavement staff and specially-trained male volunteers. Meetings are scheduled at the Marshfield Public Library (111 South Maple Street) on the 4th Thursdays of the month through March 25, 10-11am. Additional meetings may be scheduled after that date. For info, call 1-800-397-4216.
Journey of Life: Understanding Grief
This popular series offers six consecutive weekly sessions of information and support.
