Hospice is about living each day to the fullest. It's about helping individuals dying of terminal illness live each day in a pain-free environment, with dignity and peace. As a hospice volunteer, you can be a part of this incredible journey.
At Dr. Kate Hospice, volunteers are needed to work with patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes throughout the Lakeland region, including Minocqua and Eagle River and all of the surrounding communities. There is a special need for volunteers to assist staff in caring for our residents at the Seasons of Life Hospice Home in Woodruff on evenings and weekends.
