Ministry Health Care provides emergency care in hospitals across northern and central Wisconsin, each providing full emergency services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For the most urgent emergency situations, critical patients can reach the nearest emergency room in minutes by a Spirit Medical Transportation Services helicopter. In the emergency room, emergency department physicians and nursing staff rapidly assess and evaluate patients to determine the extent of illness or injuries. State of the art technologies are utilized in lifesaving intervention and stabilization.

Additional emergency services include the Rescue1 program, Chest Pain Centers and the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.
