The Ministry Behavioral Health Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point offers comprehensive mental health, psychiatric, and detoxification services in an inpatient hospital setting. Inpatient treatment is a holistic, patient-focused, short term treatment in a safe environment to achieve stability of symptoms.

A multi-disciplinary assessment in conducted initially to formulate an individual treatment plan based on patient needs and strengths. The general length of stay is three to five days. Inpatient treatment may include:
